Leather Hangers

We take immense pride in our leather goods, which are meticulously crafted in our shop using premium top-grain 8-9oz American cowhide. This exceptionally heavy and durable leather undergoes thorough tanning to ensure its longevity and resilience.

Our extensive inventory includes a wide range of weapons that can be fitted with full leather scabbards, accompanied by historically accurate hangers and belts. For those seeking cost-effective solutions or expedited fittings, we offer a convenient system of bare blade frogs.

Frogs

A FROG is simply a bladed weapon "holster" which fits onto a belt that you can rent from us or provide yourself. The bare blade fits into this holder and hangs at an angle away from the legs.

Various Leather Belts

Four dozen belts are currently in stock.

Whether you require a belt to hang a sword from or merely an accent costume piece, we offer a vast selection of full leather belts in a diverse range of styles, spanning from Medieval to Wild West. These are costume/character belts that are not typically available for purchase in stores. The widest retail belt is usually 1-1/2 inches in diameter. Ours are not only significantly wider but also considerably longer, accommodating the belt end hanging downward, which is more authentic to the period.

Belts are available in plain or studded designs, in brown or black colors, and come with a variety of different buckles.

Please provide us with the time period of your production and the actor’s waist size so that we can supply an appropriate belt.

Hangers

A hanger is a device designed to hold a weapon securely. It consists of a loop or system of loops attached to a full belt, which can be either a waist belt or a shoulder sash belt. Hangers are intended to accommodate either a bare blade or a complete leather sheath.

Double Wrap Sword Belt

Wrap the belt around the actors waist twice. Center the buckle on the actors bellybutton and have the hanger on the left hip for righties and left hip for lefties.

9 Buckle Belt Hanger

Have your actors wear the belt at their true waist and have the hanger on their left hip for righties and their right hip for lefties.

Baldric

Available in black and brown and usable with broadswords and rapiers.

It is worn over one shoulder and the sword hanger sits on the left hip of righties and the right hip of lefties.

A SHEATH is a full leather cover for a sword or dagger blade.

A HOLSTER is a holder for carrying one of our blank firing prop firearms.

Western Gun Belts and Holsters

Available in black or brown; in left handed or right handed. These fit both the Colt Peacemakers - both blank firing and non-firing. Drop belts like the one above come in waist sizes 32-38 - smaller or larger sizes will have a carbine belt and attached holster.

Various Pistol Holsters

We have a wide variety of holsters for many, though not all, of our replica and blank firing hand guns. We have: belt clips, boot clips, shoulders holsters, etc. Check for availability. The photo below is one of the many we have.
